For over 100 years, Vincentian volunteers and supporters have been making Northern Kentucky a special place to call home for our neighbors in need. By providing food, shelter, clothing and many other gifts, those in need find hope that tomorrow will be a brighter day. Your planned gift will help us fulfill our mission for many years to come.

What is a planned gift and why I should consider planned giving?

Planned gifts are a way that St. Vincent de Paul receives your support now and in the future. A planned gift is any financial gift that takes effect in the future or requires a document such as a will or trust. These types of gifts may provide you with immediate tax benefits during your lifetime. And most importantly, they allow you to demonstrate your values and beliefs to your family and community and leave a lasting legacy.

How do I include St. Vincent de Paul, Council of Northern Kentucky in my planned giving?

BEQUEST FROM YOUR WILL OR LIVING TRUST

You can easily make a charitable gift of a specific dollar amount, a percentage of your estate or trust, a specific asset or name the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, Council of Northern Kentucky (32-0350542) a residual beneficiary. In addition to a very generous gift and a lasting legacy, your estate or trust may receive an estate tax deduction lessening the burden of taxes on your family.

BENEFICIARY DESIGNATIONS

A wonderful way to help the Society is by designating St. Vincent de Paul, Council of Northern Kentucky (32-0350542) as your beneficiary for your IRAs and retirement plans, life insurance policies, commercial annuities, or even your bank accounts. Your lasting legacy will ensure that your neighbors in need will be served in the future. You can contact your retirement plan administer, insurance company, or bank/financial institution for a change-of-beneficiary form.

Please let us know about your planned gift

We hope that you will tell us when you have named us in your will, trust, retirement plan or insurance policy. We thank you for your generosity and thoughtfulness.
